Zander won an Honorable Mention in the 2023 River Rat Writing Prize with his poem. The River Rat Writing Prize contest is a school-wide writing competition where students submit works of short stories, poems, or any kind of written work.

Zander shares his poem titled, "The House with No Door." He will be regularly sharing his work and talking about how students can use it to their advantage to process difficult emotions.
