As the phenomenon known as the Backrooms started to grow in popularity there was much speculation as to where the original photo was taken. Many fans of the Backrooms believed the photo was of a vacant office space or suspected it was a digital creation. Few fans released the location would eventually be found.
In May of 2024 it was revealed that the famous photo was taken at a location that is now a hobby store. In this episode Al interviews the current owner of the building. We talk about the history of the location as well as how the revelation that this was the location of the Backrooms photo has impacted the business.
The building where the Backrooms photo was taken is in need of repairs. If you would like to help please consider donating to the Go Fund Me set up for building's roof repair: https://gofund.me/4b84df48

This episode contains five hard rock/heavy metal songs inspired by Norse mythology. I wrote the lyrics to these songs during my college years over 20 years ago and used an AI app called Donna to put them to music. I hope to record some of these songs one day with other musicians but for now Donna will have to do.
