Poirot is called in to investigate a series of deaths that Lady Willard fears are the the result of a curse. The mystery will take him (and his no-nonsense secretary, Felicity Lemon) to Egypt where members of an archeological expedition have been dying ever since an ancient king's tomb was opened.
