Pewaukee, Wisconsin — inside a quiet condo, 61-year-old Lynn Hernon is found dead, surrounded by pill bottles, powder, and paperwork that suggest an overdose or suicide. Her longtime family friend and caregiver, Jesse Krzyzewski, is the only person close enough to know Lynn’s final days.

With no obvious signs of violence, investigators begin pulling at the smallest threads: inconsistencies in the scene, unanswered questions about Lynn’s care, and details that don’t quite add up. What starts as a seemingly straightforward death quickly becomes something far more complex, as detectives uncover a case that was anything but accidental and a truth hiding in plain sight.
