Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet launched on Nintendo Switch in a less than perfect state. With numerous performance issues present, many are now wondering why these problems are so prevalent in the two games, whether the issues are commonplace &, if so, is this a reflection of aging hardware. Would a better Switch have solved these problems? Or were the two Pokémon games originally targeting a more powerful Switch?
