We’ve made it to Cerulean City! It’s a watery battle between Misty and Ash, with some nonsense from Team Rocket and a very cute Pikachu loving everyone and everything.

We get into a nice discussion about empathy, learn new terms like ‘bird-dogging’ and ‘blue rose,’ and try to rationalize if and/or why there are real animals in the Pokémon world.

Also Anna spoils Sailor Moon Season 1 a little bit.
