Polaris Model Year 2023–2024 Ranger XP Kinetic and Model Year 2025 Pro XD Kinetic Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles have cracked filters that permit water to leak into the high-voltage charging components with short circuits, fires, and burns. Also affected are specific charger service parts and kits, with part numbers 2417296, 2417297, 2889704, and 2889486.

About 4,900 vehicles and 185 accessory kits were sold in the US and about 330 additional units were sold in Canada all through Polaris dealers from April 2023 through March 2025.
