Conventional wisdom tells us that echo chambers, misinformation, and more are the leading causes of this polarization, but how can we know for sure? Today's guest is the author of Breaking the Social Media Prism, Chris Bail. He's a professor at Duke and the director of the Polarization Lab, and he's done a ton of research that we discuss in this episode.
