Today', JD discusses the SBC's decision to pass a resolution urging caution concerning books and movies using near-death experiences to teach on Heaven and yet refuses to pass a resolution to stop selling Heaven is for Real in the Lifeway bookstores. JD draws a comparsion between the fictional character, Parsons, in Orwell's classic 1984 and Southern Baptist pastors. Then, JD plays a discussion between Justin Peters and a Southern Baptist youth pastor who was fired for voicing concern about his church inviting to speak Don Piper, who wrote "90 Minutes in Heaven."
