Police Officers Killed, Violence, Trauma During His Career. His Police Career involved a lot of violence and murders of Police Officers. As a Seattle Police Officer, pervasive violence and trauma accompanied Officer Jeremy Wade. In the early stages of his career, a fellow officer met a tragic end, and their trainee was left wounded by gunfire. A month later, a sinister ambush claimed the lives of four Lakewood Police Officers in a coffee shop. Tragically, a Deputy from a neighboring agency also succumbed to fatal gunfire.

One pivotal incident unfolded on October 31, 2009, when Officer Timothy Brenton of the Seattle Police Department was fatally shot in the Central District of Seattle, Washington. Seated in a parked patrol car, Officer Brenton and his partner were deliberating a traffic stop when they became targets of a gunman who unleashed violence upon them before fleeing the scene. Officer Brenton succumbed to his injuries, while his partner sustained minor wounds. The subsequent apprehension of the suspect, Christopher Monfort, exposed an anti-police motive, leading authorities to characterize him as a "one-man war" against law enforcement. The wave of violence persisted on November 29, 2009, when four Lakewood, Washington police officers were fatally shot in a coffee shop. The assailant callously executed the officers as they worked on laptops, prompting a two-day manhunt that concluded with him being shot and killed by a Seattle Police Department officer after he refused to comply with orders.

Former Seattle Police Officer Jeremy Wade recounts his harrowing experiences, including a confrontation with a bank robbery suspect that escalated into a shooting and his involvement in an active shooter incident at a bar where his partner was injured. Actively participating in Department Peer Support and Resilience, Jeremy endeavors to aid those encountering similar challenges.

Jeremy sheds light on the daily struggles faced by first responders and their families, underscoring the isolation and despair resulting from traumatic calls, fractured encounters, and the malevolence they confront.
