It's Shrove Tuesday, otherwise known as Pancake Day. Once again Cancer Relief have been hard at work serving up pancakes for the community. Claire Hernandez was down at their base at Calpe Rowing Club earlier today.
Today we celebrate World Radio Day. For more than a century, radio has positioned itself as a medium of free speech and information sharing, of connecting communities and giving people a voice. Even with the rise of new media, radio remains a key source of information. And the future of broadcasting seems to be in good hands, with teenagers already expressing an interest. We spoke to Katie and Amber, who took part in the Christmas Takeover on Radio Gibraltar last December.
And, our studio was full to the brim with some of the 16+ members of Possabilities, telling us how they are marking World Radio Day. We spoke to Karyme Medhurst, Katie Moir, Jade Yusifredo, and Samuel Greenberg.
