California's District 9 includes most of San Joaquin County and part of Sacramento County. The incumbent, Rep. Jerry McNerney, is a 6-term Democrat. His challenger, Republican Marla Livengood, is currently the Regulatory Affairs Manager for the CA Strawberry Commission.
