Political Pulpit? I'm sure you have heard of the separation of church and state. Is it true? Is it right? First clause of the Bill of Rights says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." For the first 150 years of our countries existence there was no argument of the separation of Church and State. Over time though this needed to be defined, or argued about.
