Progressive activists and community leaders Lola Flores and Tyler Buntain share their stories of how they became activists, why they’re committed to social action and why they started “Oly Embrace” and what it’s grown into.
Lola grew up in Mexico, Tyler in the States. He spent 10 years in the military and then pursued a college education. After getting a graduate degree in the US, and meeting Tyler and starting a family, Lola decided she wanted to stay stateside and fight for what she loves best about the U.S.: Freedom, opportunity, a government that up until now, was promised to be for everyone.
