Since 1996 we've heard the great philosopher Sean Carter make the saying "Politics As Usual" popular amongst the hip hop community. It's been used so much that is can be simply translated as "it is what it is" in our culture. From not getting a job promotion, to having to explain your side of a story & even your favorite sports team not having a winning season. We all know that feeling of things just being the same as they always are. But did you know that the saying is actually used when speaking about politics? We know that this is an election year and for some this was one of the most important elections for several different reasons. No matter what your party affiliation is we've all had our own thoughts of how this election should've gone, one way or another. So today we discuss our thoughts on the election and the mental state of mind that we're in after everything that has happen thus far. Lastly we speak on what we can do as a community to help not only ourselves but our people.
