BIOG: Charlie has been the MP for Bridlington and the Wolds since 2024. Before entering Parliament he was a councillor in both Hammersmith and Yorkshire and Deputy Leader of East Riding of Yorkshire Council. He was intrinsic in the introduction of the Groceries Code Adjudicator which looks to regulate the relationship between supermarkets and their direct suppliers to improve fairness in the supply chain. He has taken this desire to ensure things are done to the highest standards into parliament by being very outspoken regarding the necessity for standards in public life.
