Politics Solace: UK General Election Special - Pt 1
Dearest Listeners... we've been apart for far too long!
As the UK goes to the polls for the first time since we started podcasting, Attika Choudhary - whom you already know, and Tom Levins - her trusty audio editor who has worked behind the scenes on seasons 2 and 3 of Positive Solace, decided to show their personal enthusiasm for politics and turn it into a special two-part election podcast, discussing the crazy world that is UK politics.
Introducing...Politics Solace
Attika and Tom have political history - Attika as a former Conservative parliamentary candidate in 2019 general election and an ex-Tory councillor for Rushmoor from 2010 and Tom as a Green Party Council Candidate in 2023. Together, they discuss some major stories that have emerged throughout the election campaign over the last 5 weeks, review each of the party manifestos and even make their predictions for the number of seats that the party may get.
As we head towards the 4th of July general election, if you're unsure who to vote for, or what each of the parties are promising: we have it covered.
