Negin Shiraghaei, has committed her life to empowering and amplifying the voices of many communities in Iran. She once served as a news anchor for BBC Persian, a position that put her family in Iran in danger. As a champion of human rights, Negin has brought her cause to a global audience, speaking before the UN Human Rights Council twice in particular. She has steadfastly denounced the crimes committed by the IRGC (Iran's Revolutionary Guard) and fervently defended women's rights.
