A couple of weeks ago there was a great discussion on my Garden Bite Facebook page about pollinators and roadways. While it mostly centered around whether to mow roadways or not, there is much more happening. I live near the interstate dubbed "The Monarch Highway" and did some research into how Departments of Transportation are handling the issue of providing habitat for pollinators and taking care of the traveling public.
