Yes we know. A chill just ran up your spine because you were reminded of the evil Reverend Kane from Poltergeist 2: The Other Side. This character gave people around the world nightmares for life and when we look back at the film all these years later, it is still horrifying.

Well Kane is at least. The rest not so much. Studio interference was a big factor with the final cut of this movie which was originally 130 minutes and they chopped it down to 90 for some reason. Too bad that the missing scenes are probably lost forever. We can only hope that it is one day found.

While having a tough act to follow, this one still holds its own. As much as I love the Kane character, I wish they kept the original explanation for the haunting instead of having it now shifted to one person. Not really sure how they built a house on top of a graveyard that was also on top of another graveyard. Shady contractors I guess?
