Today I’m finally introducing one of the rarest Glyphs I have ever encountered on Nibiru… Pommeraith.
This Cosmic/Fae type Glyph was discovered deep within the Inado Desert inside a mysterious place known as the Swinging Willows a forest that should not even exist. The trees there move without wind, the air smells like sweet apples, and strange glowing spores drift through the darkness like tiny stars.
That is where I found Pommeraith.
At first I thought the stories about it were fake. Most travelers believed Pommeraith was only a desert myth because almost nobody had ever seen one and lived to talk about it. But after following an ancient signal into the Swinging Willows, Aura Beak and I came face to face with the truth.
Pommeraith is unlike any Glyph I’ve ever seen before.
Its head resembles a bright red apple with glowing blue eyes and a small worm-like horn curling from the top beside a leaf stem. Its body is covered in soft dark fur while massive cosmic butterfly wings spread behind it glowing with star-like patterns. Despite its adorable appearance, Pommeraith possesses incredible abilities connected to spores, illusion energy, and ancient forest magic.
But what makes Pommeraith truly special… is its story.
When I first encountered it, the poor thing was being hunted by Sand Stalkers inside the Swinging Willows. The creature was terrified and alone. Through visions shown by the ancient willow trees, I learned that Pommeraith’s species had nearly gone extinct long ago after hunters invaded their forest and the desert swallowed their home.
At least…
That’s what we thought.
After Luna, Zena, and Astra rescued Aura Beak and me from the Sand Stalkers, we discovered something unbelievable hidden beneath the dunes near the forest.
A second Pommeraith.
A baby.
The little one was weak and hiding alone beneath the rocks of the desert, but the older Pommeraith immediately recognized it and protected it like family. It was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed during my journeys as a Glyph Catcher.
Since bringing them back to the sanctuary, the two Pommeraiths have adapted surprisingly fast… maybe a little too fast.
The baby Pommeraith quickly became best friends with our resident chaos gremlin Patches, which has already resulted in glowing paint explosions, destroyed storage rooms, and Aura Beak losing his patience at least twelve times.
The older Pommeraith is much calmer and acts almost like a protective older sibling or parent. It watches over the baby constantly and seems deeply connected to emotions around it. Whenever someone in the sanctuary feels upset or anxious, Pommeraith quietly floats nearby and releases glowing calming spores into the air.
It’s honestly one of the gentlest Glyphs I’ve ever met.
But there is still much we do not know.
Why does the Swinging Willows appear and disappear?
How many Pommeraiths once existed?
And why were the Sand Stalkers so desperate to hunt them?
Those are mysteries I still plan to uncover.
For now, the last known Pommeraiths on Nibiru are safe here in our underground sanctuary… where they will hopefully continue causing only manageable levels of chaos.
Hopefully.
