In many ways, Pongee Barnes is the entrepreneur of the future. Her small business Little Owners serves a broader social mission of educating young children particularly students of color on the fundamentals of financial literacy and business. Opening just months before the pandemic, Pongee was able to use her strong business acumen and experience as a real estate investor to pivot quickly and ensure rapid growth despite the circumstances.
