Research recently conducted by CARENET showed that up to 70% of seriously ill, hospitalized elderly Canadians have been given invasive end-of-life treatments that they simply did not want. Apart from this fact being bothersome, it would strike close to home if it was your mother or your grandfather. And maybe someday, it will be you receiving care you don’t want to have. Listen in to this week's Changing Lives Podcast to hear more about how poor communications is compromising care for the dying. About Hospice Quinte
