If you are not to a timeline or an exact time, in this software, paperless, and achievable time/date era, then Your doing something wrong or there’s some internal politics at play.

You need everybody to buy-in with the project “it’s for profit why we are doing this!” That and a few other reasons. Also It’s a two-way communication. It’s just a job, don’t forget that, you need a little patience.
