The heart of Pope Francis is in the right place but I think the Pope has allowed himself to be fooled into thinking that using government as a charity is a good short cut for convincing individuals to choose to give from the kindness of their own heart. I honestly don't think Pope Francis understands the implications of the government imposed social justice he is advocating.
