Some times you discover a film that opens your eyes to another layer of someone who you've admired for years. This is exactly what I went through watching the Richard Pryor 1986 film "JoJo Dancer, Your Life is Calling." As a fan of Pryor as an actor from my childhood to discovering his stand up as a teen I thought I knew him. Wrong! This movie has me looking at Richard Pryor through a different lens. If you haven't seen this movie you can watch it for free on Tubi and YouTube. Enjoy!
