4th Sunday of Epiphany
2 Timothy 3:14-4:5
Pastor Joe Gawel
One of the many struggles we face in this life is the misuse of God's holy word to feed into our lesser natures. Today God reminds us through Paul's letters to Timothy that we must continue to remain close to Jesus' teachings to resist the falsehoods that confirm our sinful impulses. If we dwell in the knowledge of the mercy we've been given, we will also seek to overflow with that same mercy.
