World Population Day is celebrated on 11th July. This day is celebrated to make people aware to stop the increasing population. The decision to celebrate this day was decided by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Program on 11 July 1989. The very next year i.e. in 1990, this day was celebrated in 90 countries. In this year alone, the world population was 5 billion.

But this is a new challenge for India..
