I’ve been chewing on something for about 24 hours.

And when something sticks with me that long, it usually means it wants to be said out loud.

“Healing” language is everywhere right now — shadow work, trauma release, inner child, hypnosis, integration — and while I love that people want to heal… not all healing spaces carry the same level of training, oversight, or safety.

Coaching, energy work, and metaphysical spaces are often unregulated.
Good intentions don’t always equal capacity.

So this isn’t fear.
And it’s not judgment.

It’s just a porch light.

A gentle reminder to slow down, ask questions, and choose spaces that truly know how to hold you.

Because your nervous system isn’t trendy.
It’s sacred ground.

Lanterns on.
Shadows have snacks.
