Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Portland, OR native, New-York based Jazz Drummer Towner Galaher .. He opened up with the show about his new 2023 CD Towner Galaher Organ Trio Live .. We got into his life as an educator and retiring after years in public education, an early Art Blakey live show, his love of jazz and so much more .. On this new project, it’s his fourth as a leader and was recorded at a private event for intimate friends and family at Daddy Jack’s in New London, CT during the lockdown.  Enjoy his story ..
