It is a well-known fact that the presence of a positive male role model in a young person's life can have a significant impact on their development. Unfortunately, in many communities around the world, there is a lack of male involvement in the lives of our youth. Kelvin recently had a conversation with staff members of the Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council, where they discussed the importance of men being involved in the lives of our young people and the work being done to break the curse.

The staff members of the Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council are doing their part to address this issue. They are providing mentorship programs, after-school programs, and other resources to help young people in their community. By engaging with young people and providing positive role models, they hope to break the cycle of absentee fathers and negative male influences.
