Good news from China and Korea. First, China reported a single (yes, just one) new Coronavirus case today. Second, my best friend from grad school runs a manufacturing firm that makes equipment for the semiconductor industry, with its main operations in China and Korea. All of their plants in these two cities are operating "normally". So the Draconian measures around social distancing work in Asia, and I am increasingly confident that they work in Europe, North America and the rest of the world.
