Holistic systems thinking, the ability to make connections between functional areas of business is a hallmark of the CIM Program.  The objective of the program is to create holistic thinking leaders who have ability to make connections between functional areas of business.  

When I evaluated Posners five theoretical perspectives in relationship to the C.I.M. curriculum the most closely related theoretical perspective is Constructivism
