The nation of Spain is is undergoing a dramatic political change today, on top of all that, "Democratic Memory Law" was passed on 5 October 2022, and came into effect on 21 October 2022. According to the official description, the law includes a provision to ensure secondary school, Spanish Baccalaureate, and vocational training students are taught about the dictatorship. Is it still possible for people in Spain to understand and appreciate the significance of the law? Was the impact from the civil war still looming the nation's political division?
