To date, she says there has been an increase inspections and enforcement on the part of the Food & Drug Administration in this post-COVID era. In particular, she says, the agency is looking at companies from more of a complete perspective, making visits to all manufacturing facilities rather than picking and choosing just a few to visits. She also addresses the importance of having contracts in place with suppliers, having a safety culture throughout the team and making sure product recall preparations are in place.
