The Edmonton Oilers are currently enjoying a couple of practice days ahead of their matchup with the Boston Bruins. In the meantime, we can only sit here and predict what happens next for this team. Can they prove themselves to be legitimate threats coming out of the Western Conference with wins over the Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs? Only time will tell.

For now, we sit and wait with Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday. On today's show, the two of them will be joined by Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff. They will talk to Frank about what happened around the NHL on trade deadline day. Additionally, they will talk about what almost happened before the buzzer sounded. Were the Oilers close on Timo Meier? Was Erik Karlsson a legitimate option for this team? Frank will give some clarity on the situation in today's episode.
