After the New Testament began with Jesus as the newly resurrected king on the thrown over the church, the job was to establish his government by unifying the body through the holy spirit.

Taking my thoughts from Acts 13-16, during post elections with Trump as the president-elect, our role as the church is to unify the  body through the holy spirit.
