The final Prep Sports Weekly of the 2024-25 season; Monday, June 16, 2025. We start with the Saide Dorr, a three-sports athlete and 4.0 student from Cascade High School. Then, also from Cascade, the Everett Public Schools Male Athlete of the Year Andi Cosme. Followed by Jackson Timberwolves softball player, and Washington commit, Allie Thomsen. And finally, three athletes from Shorewood: 3A Girls Pole State Champion Ava Enriquez and decathletes brothers Jaden & Tyler Marlow.

Part One of our Spring Sports State Championships for Monday, June 9, 2025. We start with the 1A State Boys Pole Vault State Champion, senior Erick Diaz, along with his head coach Mark Neuman. Then it's the 1A State Girls Champion in the hammer and discus Kim Beard; along with 1A State Boys Champion in 100m Jeshua Singletary. Their head coach Rod Wilcox joined us on the phone. Finally, we hear from the long-time, and now retired head track & field coach Jeff Page of Lake Stevens.

Three basketball teams that all placed at this year's state tournament visit Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, March 10, 2025. We start with the 4A Boys third place team, the Glacier Peak Grizzlies with head coach Brian Hunter and players Josiah Lee, Zachary Albright and Reed Nagel. Then it's the Glacier Peak girls team with head coach Brian Hill and players Brynna Pukis, Rikki Miller and Samantha Thoma. Finally it's the King's Knights girls team with head Dan Taylor and players Kaleo Anderson, Kaitlin Cramer and Adeline Cox.

A Memorial Day Edition of Prep Sports Weekly on Monday, May 26, 2025. We start with the former Athletic Director at Snohomish High School Mark Perry, he tells us about the First Annual Panther Run, raising funds for athletic scholarships at SHS. Then we review and preview spring sports championships involving our local Wesco teams; first, with Shorewood Stormrays head boys soccer coach Shaun Warner; then with Jackson head baseball coach Joe Fleury along with two-sport athlete Ashton Bergman with his dad, Mark Bergman.

It's a Spring Sports State Championship Weekend Preview Show for Monday, May 19, 2025. We start with the head tennis coach at Snohomish High School, Joel Boyer previews the upcoming boys and girls state tennis tournaments. Then we hear from the head baseball coach at Cedar Park Christian, Matt Stevens previews his team's opening round 1A regional game, to be played at Funko Field at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Then, it's softball with the head coach at Stanwood, Patrick Ryan previews his squad's opening round 3A tournament match-up in Lacey. Finally, it's the head baseball coach at Lake Stevens, David Benson with a preview of his club's trip to the 4A regionals in Puyallup.

We wrap-up the winter sports state champions; and look ahead to spring sports post-season on this edition of Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, May 12, 2025. The Snohomish Panther Boys Swim Team leads off with Head Coach Ron Belleza and state champion swimmers Torsten Hokanson, Owen Collins, Connor Colloton and Rysen Tuomisto. Then it's state champion swimmer Syunta Lee from the Jackson Timberwolves swim team, along with head coach Drew Whorley. Finally, a 4A Bi-District Baseball preview with the Jackson Timberwolves and head coach Joe Fleury and players Drew Pepin, Quin Johns and Gavin Duckart.

It's an all-state championship wrestling on this week's edition of Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, May 5, 2025. We start with two girl state champions, seniors Hannah Baldock (120-Edmonds-Woodway) and Libby Norton (105-Shorewood); along with coaches Tre House (EW) and Derek Norton (SW). Next up, it's sophomore Kylee Wicklund (140-Lake Stevens) and junior Mia Cienega (190-Everett); along with coach Jordain Harrop (E). Segment three was the Ottow family of Snohomish, with wrestler sophomore Malia Ottow and her coaches dad Jordan and mom Stephanie. Stephanie is also the Director of the Washington State Women's Wrestling Association. Finally, it's a pair of three-time state champion boys wrestlers, with senior Connor Aney of Glacier Peak and junior Tre Haines of Arlington; along with coaches Adam Aney, himself a state champion (1993, Monroe) and Jonny Gilbertson of Arlington.

Wesco Spring Sports are heading into the stretch run, with the playoffs just around the corner. We hit four different sports on the Monday, April 28, 2025 edition of Prep Sports Weekly. First, we hear from the Mountlake Terrace Girls Track & Field team with Cymmantha Erickson, Sonita Chen, Mifa Tran, Haruna DiPippo, Allison Mervin, Taylor Williams, Brynlee Dubiel and Sierra Swan. Then, a Coach's Carousel with the head coach of the Everett Boys Soccer team Ryan Gamache; the head coach of the Archbishop Murphy Softball team Megan Dedrick; and the head coach of the Shorewood Baseball team Ben Andrews.

Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, April 21, 2025. We hear from Edmonds-Woodway head boys soccer coach Jason Hanson; then Steve heads across campus to meet up with the Warriors' softball team and coach Josh McClure along with players Ella Campbell, Abby McCorvey and Ellie Alderson. We get the latest update on this weekend's massive Eason Invitational Track Meet from the head track & field coach at Snohomish High School Dave Weller. Finally, we hear about the Arlington Eagles baseball team with head coach Scott Striegel.

Spring sports are in full swing, and we cover the gamut on the Monday, April 14, 2025 edition of Prep Sports Weekly. We start with the red-hot Stanwood baseball team with head coach Matt Brennan and players Skyler McLain, Tanner Requa and T. J. McQuery.
