NWA Dirt Report

Post Ride Beer Report - Scott Fitzgerald

Listen Later

Scott Fitzgerald joins us for another quarantine episode of the Ride Beer Report. Via Zoom we crack a couple cold beverages after a weeknight ride and delve into a great conversation.

Starting with how the quarantine is going and what the family that lives for outdoor adventure is doing to stay sane while cooped up in the house. With the greater focus of Scott's passions: Community Development, Environmental Stewardship, and Entrepreneurship we jump into Scott's timeline from finding the bike in the suburbs of Boston, letting it go for a car, and then regaining his love to never let it go in College. The bike took Scott west and allowed him to grow and develop Fitzgerald's Bicycle's from a tent in a side yard to a top shop in the country with his awesome wife Jannine. We talk about the process of growth and how you do it with your significant other. We talk about the challenges of selling and how you come to finally being OK to sell your first baby. But, Scott and Jannine weren't done and we see the true colors of Scott's entrepreneurial mind. We delve into the present with Buddy Pegs and the goal's of the company. We find out if kids are really the easiest clients to work with and where Scott finds all his joy and motivation for this faze of life.

Favorite Trail - You will most likely find Scott with the whole Fittzy crew out lost in the woods of Passion Play if you are looking for him.

Scott's Beer of Choice - Fallen Queen - New Providence Brewing (I know he said New Belgium but close enough)
