Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Relentless v. Department of Commerce were consolidated and presented to the high court. Attorneys essentially have asked the justices to revisit its Chevron doctrine, which reviewing courts use to defer to agency interpretations of the statutes they're charged with administering. Mr. Gold, Mr. Agarwal and Mr. Karakitsos weigh the legal and political implications of the Supreme Court's decision ahead of its release.
