To put a spotlight on the issues those in poverty encounter every day, Congregation Temple Israel will host a community action poverty simulation experience in conjunction with National Council of Jewish Women - St. Louis. In this episode, Karen Sher, Federation’s Vice President of Community Engagement, talks with Nancy Litz, one of the co-chairs of the simulation event, and Felice Joyce, vice president for advocacy for the local section of NCJW, about the simulation and poverty in the St. Louis Jewish community.
