Welcome to The Shiterion Collection, Episode 1.

A lightning-charged melodrama with heavy themes including loneliness, bullying, and closeted homosexuality, the film Powder resonated with audiences during its release in 1995. The film follows a really pale hipster (Sean Patrick Flanery) who was discovered hiding in his grandparents basement after their deaths. A small town confronts their views on the world as they deal with Powder’s unique powers. The film also stars Jeff Goldblum as a hot teacher and Mary Steenburgen as a hot social worker.

 

Trigger Warning: Directed by a convicted sex offender, the film opened to protests and controversy.
