Psalm 24:1-2 The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, 2for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

Psalm 115:16 The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Luke 4:5-7 And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, 6 and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. 7 If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours.”

1 John 5:19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

‘GOD is in control’ – No He’s not in control of the things that He has delegated.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

God works out His purpose in this Earth through human agencies – that’s why even Jesus had to become a human man born of a woman in order to be God’s agent for the salvation of men – He became “the son of Man”

Amos 3:7 For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

God constantly referred to His prophets by the term “son of man” establishing that He had vessels on earth who would hear His voice and obey His command, bringing His purposes into effect on the Earth.

Matt 6:9-10 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Heb 3:1-2 Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, 2 who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

2 Pet 1:20-21 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

God’s purposes are revealed in His Word, and He’s looking for us to come into agreement with His will, and to pray and confess His will so that He can bring it t
