This is another communion devotional. I know there is a need for communion devotionals for the single folk who never got entangled in the earthly traditions such as marriage. I know the need because, I never got married and have always surfed the waters of being forced to take communion alone at times, and I know each time I took communion alone, I wasn't really alone at all because I believe that my God and his Son, Jesus are ALWAYS present. Now, these words of mine don't suggest that I don't believe in the power of breaking bread with other believers, I definitely understand that coming together to partake in communion produces encouragement especially if members of the church truly have God as their center. But I am not naïve nor ignorant of the fact that single members are often left to taking communion alone because of circumstances that arise. So this is for the single members who revere Jesus name and couldn't make it to church services during the time the married elders set. Always know that God and Jesus are always present. Believe in the power and the authority!
