Do you sometimes feel you are all alone in the battle against the adversary? Perhaps it feels that way because you are not using the authority Jesus Christ has given you. The Bible is clear you are not alone. Jesus said, "I will never leave or forsake you." The Holy Spirit indwells and fills you if you belong to Jesus. Therefore, you are not alone. But...Jesus will not do for you what he has already given you authority to do. Perhaps the feelings you are experiencing are not those of being alone, but rather the gnawing impetus to use the delegated authority you have in Christ. If you will exercise that spiritual authority you will gain more confidence in using this powerful resource. This is earned authority, but you won't earn any authority if you are unwilling to use what you have been given in the first place. Take authority in Jesus' name over the situation or circumstance you face and watch the enemy take a step back in the battle you are presently engaged in.
