When did it become more socially acceptable to whine and complain than to actually go out and figure out a solution?  

I mean, heck, when my business is struggling, the first thing that I do is go find someone who has done what I'm trying to get to work, and ask them for some advice.  

This is not really any different than when you're playing an online game and you ask someone with +5000 Kickbutt skill to walk you through a dungeon. 

You get all the experience, loot, and knowledge of how to handle situations without any of the pain of trying to struggle through it yourself.  

Life, business and video games are pretty much identical on that front. You've just got to go find someone who knows what to do, and ask for assistance.   Check it out!
