This first week of practical preparedness comes to a close with a discussion of a power loss scenario and the cascading impacts on families and society. Considerations from access to cell and internet, to point of sale systems, transportation, fuel, potable water in high density housing and a host of other impacts. Your employment may pause and in these times of increased inflation with many families living at the edge of their resources, a loss of a week's income may be catastrophic. 
Preparedness is where the response fight is won.
Adopting a prepared life allows you to strategize, plan and create the conditions for you to continue to rock an incredible life when there is a disruption in access to utilities or other sectors of critical infrastructure.
