Those who got Covid had levels of immunity 10x lower than those who had been vaccinated, certainly if one catches only a mild case. Those who got covid and then got vaccinated compared to those who were just vaccinated, the protection against variants was higher in those who had covid.

Healthcare workers, especially frontline healthcare workers, got infected with covid got infected less than expected, but neonatologists did not. Those who had been seeing decades of disease exposure had immunity that helped with covid, whereas the neonatologists around more sterile environments and patients were more likely to get sick.

No answer yet as to why Pfizer made the cutoff 12 years old instead of going younger. Moderna is going through trials right now for children, so the odds of a vaccine for younger kids are hopeful.

First, Dr. Baxter talks about how all the normal safety and efficacy procedures were followed as with normal FDA vaccine processes, it's only more background information and subgroup testing that were deprioritized to save time.

Fainting and embarrassment about fainting are not directly tied to needle fear. Those who were afraid of fainting were much more likely to choose the J&J one-shot vaccine given all options - so J&J sites self-select for a more fainty crowd. Tip: drink 16 oz of a caffeinated drink one hour before, and don't get the immunity on an empty stomach. Feel woozy? Crouch or bring one leg up to push blood back into your brain. Fainting can act as a warrior response, allowing someone to faint but stay alive in battle. A CDC study of fainting with the HPV vaccine found no one fainted in the Buzzy group, but 1/10 did in the "listen to music" group.

Just as healthcare workers probably had some t-cell immunity against COVID19, illness and vaccination will educate the T-cells to provide some immunity against covid.

Pfizer announced 100% efficacy at stopping severe disease in younger age patients. Covid is proving to be more lethal than other diseases that we are already vaccinating children for. Cases are on the rise and the 45-65 demographic is a large number of hospitalizations. This means we're doing a good job at vaccinating older people.

Data is getting processed from Dr. Baxter's nasal irrigation study. Patients in the nasal irrigation study had symptoms that lasted for ~4 days compared to ~17 days in a Florida control study.
