Scripture: Psalm 23

Suddenly David downshifts from 5th gear on you as you move on the freeway. 

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, 
for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me.”Psalm 23:4 (ESV) 

One moment I’m in green pastures lying down, fed, protected, life’s good, and the next moment, I’m in the deepest, darkest valley.   

David has no problem believing that God is present in BOTH situations. Seasons change, but David’s faith remains.
