The adventure referred to in this chapter an experience in the power of consciousness.  Consciousness is what is to be changed if we want to renew our minds.  Of course, the mind is the battle ground between good and evil. Okay, so to renew the mind to "the quality of goodness" by using a variety of tools.  One such tool is the scriptures as a proclamation.  The proclamation is a statement of faith that you believe or choose to believe is a true promise.  That a proclamation of healing or over-coming a bad habit by proclaiming God's promises over and over until they become a working part of the mind.  As I have practiced this, I have noticed that the good in the proclamation begins to crowd out negativity such as fear.  Another tool is listening for the Holy Spirit.  Check with your spiritual advisor on this one.  Another such tool is that of recognition.  That understanding is along these lines, "God has not given us a spirit of fear."  In other words, "God is good and righteous.  He is not going to place evil things in our consciousness.  That evil or negativity comes from some other source, but not from God who is love clear through.  Finally another thought.  Wait on the Lord.  Those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they will mount up on wings like eagles.  Develop patience.  Hallelujah!
